Our practice continues to grow and we are now looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to a varied and rewarding job in our new office near Wantage.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and have a confident yet friendly attitude matched with a desire to develop great working relationships with clients and colleagues alike. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys managing a varied workload, adapting to a portfolio of different client environments whose requirements range from extremely controlling through to completely remote.
Candidates should hold a clean driving licence and own or have access to transportation as the role requires to work on client site.
Main Responsibilities:
The candidate will welcome the ability to work independently and have experience of Sage Line 50 accounting software and/or Quickbooks Pro in order to maintain customer records. They will be able to prioritise and organise their work load capable of picking up and putting down accounting records from a variety of clients. The ideal client will be able to produce regular management accounts from the bookkeeping records as well as VAT computations and returns.
Ambitious individuals would be welcomed as the practice is a continuous learning organisation and  can offer the opportunity to get involved in a number of different areas once initial objectives have been met, ultimately leading to the development of your own role.
In return for your expertise and commitment, you will be rewarded with an excellent salary (in the range £18000 - £23000) and an uncapped bonus.
