Claire Clark has a psychology degree, but still decided to join our team in September 2008 (maybe we’re a case study in the making). She had previously worked for leading horse racing trainer Henrietta Knight at her yard near Wantage in Oxfordshire. She wanted to do something totally different and a challenge.

Claire helps our small business clients manage their finances by operating payroll for them on a monthly or weekly basis ensuring they and their staff are paid on time and that they are guided regarding paying tax and national insurance at the right time to the HM Revenue and Customs. We recognise our clients are busy and a gentle reminder when a payment is due is greatly appreciated. Claire also looks after the administration of the business – you are likely to find her chasing you for your books when accounts need preparing.
Apart from horses, Claire also loves dogs and competes in dog agility. She would love to meet Cesar Millan, more commonly known as “The Dog Whisperer”. She would also love to visit all the states of the US in a motor home with hubby and son (though Hawaii might be a long drive). She loves reading books by Stephen King and her favourite film is The Shawshank Redemption – though we don’t think that’s where she got the idea of working for an accountant.
